Tournament Brackets Posted
Its hard to believe that the season is almost over, we have posted the boys tournament brackets. The tournament will begin on June 14th and run through June 18th providing we do not get rained out or we do not need to play the "if needed" game. In that event we will be forced to push the Championship into the following week. We would like to congratulate all the teams on their season so far and look forward to an exciting conclusion. The girls tournament is scheduled June 21st and end June 25th, providing all the games are completed in time. Then the All-Star season for the boys will begin with the Grand Ridge Tournament beginning June the 28th and run through July 3rd. The Marseilles Tournament will begin the following week July 5th and run through July10th with July 11th as the rainout game. Good luck to all the players hoping to make the rosters. Durdan Electric (Grand Ridge Blue 11&12) would like to nominate Sam Holtzman for player of the week. Sam pitched well in two games this week against the As leading his team to two wins. So far this year, Sam has pitched 39 innings only allowing 12 runs. He has also struck out 64, with only walking 9 batters.

Marseilles All-Star Tournaments taking applications
Marseilles Youth Sports is now looking for Teams for our All-Star tournaments running July 5th through July 10th (July 11th, rainout date) for boys. We have a 9 & 10 year-old division and a 11 & 12 year-old division. The price is $250 per team and teams must be All-Star teams not travel teams. Trophies will be awarded for first and second places, we offer a full concession stand featuring daily specials. This will be a true double elimination tournament and we play by Little League rules with a few exceptions. We are also organizing girls fast pitch tournaments; with 11u and 14u divisions. The type of tournament will depend on the number of teams attending. For more information please contact us HERE.
